We are excited to announce the launch of our new training website! “This has been a goal of Flourish Agenda for awhile now,” said CEO Dr. Shawn Ginwright. “The timing of this launch is especially important considering current restrictions on group gatherings and other safety precautions. This addition to our training service means we can still help youth workers learn how to help our youth heal and flourish,” he concluded.

The initial course offering includes the only Healing Centered Engagement Certification available in the country. This Certification course is designed for youth practitioners to use healing centered strategies in their work in schools, after school programs, social work, and any field where youth of color are supported. The process is rigorous, but fun and meaningful. It combines online learning with hands on practice and self-reflection. Upon successful completion of the 30-hour course, participants will receive a certificate and 3 (three) units of credit from San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning.

“We look to expand available courses over the next year to include another Certification for leadership on how to implement Healing Centered Engagement into institutional or organizational policies and procedures to ensure a healthy, flourishing environment for staff and children alike,” said Ginwright.
